Good! I need help with layers and masks. I've tried to find help online but I can't find anything that answers my questions.

Actually, this one is a bit different. Rather than posting photos an a daily or weekly basis, the idea is to offer help and how-to for those that are trying to learn how to use the software. Here is the PSP side challenge that we did about 1 1/2 years ago. There was a good exchange of ideas and tips.

What I hope to see happen is for the less experienced users of PSP to ask a lot of "how do I?" type questions and for those who know how to offer the answers. I'll probably be working up an explanation of layers and masking.

I think I may just play along on this one... (haven't been on DPC a year or two, this would be a good place to start)

Corel PSPX3 (with NIK Define, CEP3 Pro, Viveza) but I have straight PSP pointers to share as well.

Whats the challenge...

I'll play. PSP X here. All of my top challenge images show my processing steps (For my only ribbon winner, I had to add the steps as a comment). If anyone wants to see the original raw images for them, just let me know.

This side challenge is to provide how-to help and discussion for PSP users. (Quit lurking, I know you are there!)

Post here if you wish to participate. Also please make mention of what version of PSP you are using.

Note: Jasc PaintShop Pro and Corel PaintShop Pro are the same program. Corel acquired Jasc somewhere around version 10.

Yo_Spiff X2 Ultimate, also have X1 on a Netbook.
