Anyone in the Seattle area up for getting together for an afternoon this weekend? Brent_S and I are interested, so I am hoping we can get a few more and we can shoot the hell out of each other for the user challenge. Of course, I'll be wearing a ski mask, so all your photos of me will be DNMC'd. :)

I am available most anytime for a few hours. Location doesn't matter to me - although I'm a little burned out on Seattle proper. Let's get some suggestions going for those interested...

...Friday is ok for me as well

Saturday or Sunday work best for me, but I could probably pull off a Friday meet too. Meeting anywhere in the City or otherwise is fine with me :-)
Edit: Actually looking at the weather forecast here on Wednesday, Friday might be our best day- though that can quickly change...

Making me homesick, guys. Well, I'm from NY, but I lived in Seattle for a while and in all my stops it's by far my favorite place to call home. If all goes as dreamed I'll meet up with you there some day. All the best.

Hopefully they'll start to win a game or two. Saw them last last week, Cliff Lee pitching. They just can't seem to hit, what gives?

That would be nice, win a game ha....I haven't a clue what is wrong with their bats, as they seem to be pitching well. At least the little bit I have seen. Haven't followed them all to close yet this year as I have been hooked on hockey. Call me a cheese head I guess....

I'm up for it. I've met none of you all and would love to change that. :)

Saturday is best for me, Sunday is a bit harder but I could probably swing it.

Count me in, anytime, maybe a good park like Lincoln Park in West Seattle or Arboretum?

I can assure you that if Beetle and her husband plamprec were still living in the Seattle area that I would be jumping on a plane to visit.

Unfortunately, they have moved to Australia... so I am doomed and will have to visit them there... Boo Hoo Hoo :O)

Glad to see some people chiming in they would like to join in. I could meet Friday afternoon or anytime on the weekend. So whatever time works best for others is good by me. Weather forecast is starting to look better for all three days.

Too bad I didn't have 14 days notice, Southwest Airlines has a special for $99 one way to Seattle from St. Louis!

I might be able to come down although I don't remember any of us being being portrait material. Saturday works and maybe Sunday morning (Sunday afternoon I have a Mother's Day BBQ at my sons house in Kenmore.

So, not sure if this would be useful, but how about a quick spreadsheet to put names and preferred times on?

Wyvern: Thanks for the spread sheet . I added in my preferences. With Sunday being Mother's Day though, I am wondering if we shouldn't just start asking who can get together on Saturday since not too many people have mentioned Friday?

JB: Good point about portrait material- not sure anyone would want to shoot me. We could always shoot other stuff and trash talk users in other places ;-)

Ace & Jennifer: We should have a Pacific Northwest GTG some time soon. BTW Jennifer, thanks for letting my DPL teammate Erin (she should be at the PNW GTG too)
use your daughter as a model recently- she did a great job for us :-)

Thanks Brent....she had fun and is a good willing model. Yes...we should have a PNW get-together. Sounds great!!

The spreadsheet is a cool idea - I posted in it. I totally forgot about Mothers Day, so Saturday is looking like the best day. Frank has made some good suggestions for locations. So those who have not posted in the spreadsheet, please do.

Sorry about the short notice, but it was obviously a last minute idea based on the current challenge (portrait material notwithstanding). A PNW GTG in late spring or early summer would be awesome.

One way? Oh no, you can't run away from home that easy.
