Hey amateur photographer...

I am thinking of making a team of people who have average percentile between 20-30.

We are new and we are learning,... DPL is a huge opportunity for us and our scope for improvement is huge...

Who all wants to be in... ?

Hi Prashant, thanks heaps for the invite. Unfortunately, I had already accepted via a forum an invitation to another team. I think your team concept is excellent and would loved to have been part of it. I'll be closely watching you teams progress and wish you all the best. Cheers, Phil.

Thanks for doing this - I was thinking along the same lines if no one picked me for their team, but its better this way - I don't have to be the captain!
I'm looking forward to giving and getting good input on pictures before entering, rather than thinking I've got a great shot only to watch it sit just above 4.0 for the entire week.
First word of advice - don't enter a stuffed animal shot for dpchallenge. Flower shots will score better, but don't expect anything above a mid-5 unless there is a bee or some other bug in the picture too. There may be exceptions for these two pieces of advice, but don't count on it...

you are really inspired by 'five point something' book. It was a good read, though i do not agree with author about few things about IIT. But was fun to read.

I am too busy otherwise would love to be part of your team.

As original member of 5 point something gang.

Hi team
First thanks for the invite Prashant ;)

I am sure we will do well and WIN this, haha

Seriously, as already mention, I think this is a great opportunity to learn and as David said to get some pointers and feedback before we enter ;)

Keith

Prashant,
I don't think everyone reads the forums, so you might also try the free agent pool and directly contact possible candidates by Private Message:

Glad to be on board, team. Thanks for the invite.

I've been ramping up my DPC efforts, lately, and I look forward to subjecting myself to the rigors of regular challenge submissions.

Hello Prashant,

Are you still looking for DPL team members? I'm interested and have a 20 something average.

Great idea, Keith. I just did the same.

For those of you who may not know how - go to your profile page. Then choose "My Preferences" from the "My Home" drop down menu. In the "Bio" section on the left, place the cursor wherever you want (I did mine at the top) and then hit the little thumbnail icon at the top of that Bio window. A new window will appear asking for the image number. Cut and paste the following number in the new window's box: 866843 . Now go down to the bottom of your preferences page and hit save.

You're done.

Now while you're at it, those of you who don't have a profile pic need to go to the same "preferences" page and ADD ONE!

Cheers, team.

Jeff
