| OS 4 announced today and there will be folders and multitasking as well as a bunch of other stuff. But those two alone are serious improvements. |

Just to be clear, the folders are for arranging icons, not storing files. I'm still getting used to not having access to the file system.
Granted this was very iPhone focused, but I was hoping to hear about printing form the iPad. More details to follow, I'm sure.
I little disapponted that the OS won't be available on the iPad until fall, summer for the iPhone.

This is what I read...
I did some experimenting and found printing from the iPad is possible with the right printer...the key is bluetooth. I don't have one at home but do at the office. I don't generally bring the iPad to the office.

Good in depth look at the ipad, intelligently written. This threw me off purchasing one for now.
And if you have lots of photos on your iPad, scrolling through them to get to the newest one at the bottom is a pain. There's no searching by date, no recent pics, and new pics (such as screen captures) aren't automatically put in Albums or Events, so you have to scroll through all your pics individually.
I'm looking at the ipad for photo viewing and sharing with potential customers but not having at least an option to sort my images is a big turnoff. I'm sure it'll get fixed but until then I'll continue my search for a portable photo viewer, that looks a lot like the ipad. ;) |

You can sort them by albums. I think what the article was referring to is within an album. So you can have your portfolio in a seperate album from the others. It can also arrance by Event, Faces, or Location, in addition to Albums.
The video on the Apple site shows it better than I can explain it.

Bit of a fanboy article though. "The most annoying thing about iPad is that it will change your base expectation about computers. I now find myself trying to flick at the screen of my MacBook or attempting to touch a text field on the display so I can start typing. Once you get used to touch, the mouse feels archaic." |
