Signed up with them the other day and got my test prints back. Normally I use Mpix but thought I'd give Miller's a whirl. I realize that Mpix is just a front end for them but I sorta figured the price list wouldn't be such a difference. 5x7s are double the price with Millers, 8x10s are like %75 more or so, etc. I do realize they print on Endura paper but the quality is no better than Mpix and the color correction samples weren't that great either.

Anybody know what I'm missing besides free overnight shipping from Millers?

I\'ve used both and then tried White House Custome Color (whcc dot com)
The best lab and customer service I\'ve ever used. The prints are always spot on and they answer your emails very quickly. Give them a try.

You know my ADD won't let me read that.

How about you give me a summary in 20 words or less?

Millers has more items available (just 5 words!). (It's a 3-page chart, so pretty easy to look over.)

Plus free shipping and phone support.

Basically, Mpix is for the basic consumer. It's where a good many professional photographers send their clients to print when they've purchased digital files. MpixPro is intended for the inbetweens...probably working professionally but maybe not on a large scale. Millers is for professionals who are looking to deal with a professionals-only lab.

I got this far: "Plus free shipping and phone support.

Basically, Mpix is for the basic consumer. It's where a good many professional photographers.......". That was my 20. I'll read the rest tomorrow.

PS. Thanks for the info - PAL.

I've worked with all three and from what I can tell the quality of the work is pretty much the same. With Miller's you get free overnight shipping and your order almost always ships the same day as submitted. If you look at the prices you will also notice that while Miller's prices for a single print are higher than mpix, as the volume goes up the prices actually drop below mpix. Of course this doesn't help when ordering just one or two of each print for a client, but I thought I would point it out as something to keep in mind. One more thing to consider is that Miller's has a lower price if you don't want them to do any color or exposure adjustments to your images.

Not a single difference in quality. I recently shot a wedding and ordered a few large prints from mpix, mpix pro, and millers to see the difference. All 3 were the exact same. Mpix pro and Millers both offer free shipping. If you are just ordering prints then mpix is the place to order from.
