my night shot is sitting dead on a 5.0 and before voting started I was sure it was going to finish around a 4. My product shot is doing ok at a 5.3ish. |

I can't find Kelli...anyone want to help me pick one for tonight?
I had about 6. I either don't have anything, or I have only one or I have so many it drives me crazy. I've narrowed this down to 2 but I keep changing my mind.

PM me and I'll offer an opinion. I'll also ask one of you, if that's OK! |

You're welcome, and thanks for the encouragement as well. I did have others but that one is by far my favorite. It'll bomb. :-) |

Impressive. My scores are def not on the Suck end of the spectrum but don't worry I am sure it is a fluke and I really do belong with Team Suck. |

Don I LOVED your Bizarrchitecture shot. I didn't even care that it wasn't that bizarre. I gave a 10 and favourited it. |

Both of those are lovely, Kelli! You're so very creative. And she is quite the ham, isn't she? Growing like a weed, too, it seems! |

Thanks Deb! I was trying out the 30 day trial of onOne frames. Awesome program, but I'll probably go to the freeware version when my trial is up. I did a book today through Walgreens (75% off thru Saturday so the $30 book was $7.50) of the first 4 months and wanted to include something for Easter so I dressed her up in her outfit & snapped away. |

There's one shot that I just don't see as stopped motion, but I absolutely love the shot.

From my "Stopped Motion" entry, which is currently in the 4s... here's what I have in the comments:
"To me, all photography is "stopped motion" - we're stopping that one moment in time. There may be similar moments. In the case of inanimate objects, there may be nearly identical moments. But with people, there are only those singular moments."
Does that help with the entry you like, Wendy? (I'm quite sure it's not mine, but I thought the words might help just the same.) |

The problem is that the description is "Catch your subject mid-action". People tried so hard to stop the motion, that I feel that I'm letting them down scoring an image high that seems to have nothing to do with the challenge. I know I'm over-thinking things. This has only happened once or twice before--where I think an image is truly wonderful, but really doesn't seem to fit.

My photo fits the description perfectly, but nobody seems able to see that, which of course gives me a perverse pleasure. |
