Okay, under most circumstances, I am completely against releasing an artists material after their passing... I equate that to someone going through your harddrive after your death and pulling out all your unedited photos that you thought weren't good enough, and publishing them... normally, I would boycott in protest, like I always have, but I am just such a big Hendrix fan, that I had to have it... Call me a hypocrite, but I grew up idolizing the man and learning to play like him, so anything he did, I would want to hear... Having said that, this new Jimi Hendrix album is jaw-dropping... I am shocked and amazed at how good it is, considering some of these cuts were never intended for release... Anyone else feel the same way???

I grew up listening to Hendrix and that's while he was still alive and well. Shows ya how old I am. :)

I have always wondered what Jimi would sound like if he were to record with todays modern studio equipment. Everything he did back then was amazing to begin with. So with the modern technology and his artistic skills it would be nothing short of insane...

I am definately going to check this new Album out.
