Wow! I can't believe that he didn't get a close-up of a crocodile while spending so much time in the water.

And yes, great images. I like getting that low perspective on the water like that.

edit to add:

He must have had his lens at or just above the waterline. I had my fingers wrapped under my camera body and barely touching the water to get as low as possible without using a housing and my perspective here still isn't quite as low as his...



...but I'm wasn't about to get in the water just for those extra few degrees.

I have done a couple of crazy things while shooting, but probably wouldn't go that far. I have to say that he did get the images that he was after, though at a big price.

Then I don't suggest looking up pictures of what it was in his foot haha

has the dude never heard of a wet suit? That might have prevented a lot of the disease, geez. Of course you usually are more famous after your dead so maybe that is what he was really going after.
