Hey Everyone,

Over the past couple of months, I've been totally overhauling my site. I do my own coding for it, thus the two month process. I really enjoy controlling how it comes out. I'd love some critiques on the site. Tell me what you like, what you dislike. I'm open for suggestions.

It is up and running here: //www.ryandunnewold.com

Please note: Site should be centered in the page, if something looks quirky, please tell me.

Thanks,
Ryan

Thanks. I'll use no commas in mine. If that makes you feel better. :)

I second that..

Just a suggestion - the drop down menus under Portfolio and Information - instead of showing up on a click it would work better if they showed up onmouseover event.

(another post without using a comma :))

The simpleviewer name is over some of the wider images.

Throw them some $ so you can get rid of the sv name... Some of us know it is anyway but no point advertising for them (I thought they removed that a while back but maybe still donation to get the label off).

noted. I'm gonna look into swapping that over that would work nicely. And robs, I've looked into it, the thing is its $45 to get rid of it, and at this point I don't think that much is worth getting rid of the link. At some point, I may though.

Great site. Nice a smooh and real simple. One thing I noted was on your rates page you describe the page the user needs to use to contact you but you don't link directly to it in the paragraph you describe it. I think you should add a link to the fom you describe.

Overall, I like it a lot!

Nice site - I hate flash sites so its refreshing to see a good old, quck loading, good looking HTML site..

Great work!

The 2nd shot of Erica on your blog is simply stunning..

Great site, only question I have is where are you? Maybe I overlooked it but I didn't see a location for where you live.

Thanks guys.

EL-ROI, I'm gonna fix that here shortly, thanks for the idea.

Thanks Simms for the feedback, much appreciated.

And jminso, thanks for pointing that out, I never put my location on there. Thanks so much.

I'd love more feedback anyone and everyone :)

All the suggestions have been put into place.

Vikas, I tried the mouseover, and thought it looked a little glitchy, so I did it on "onclick". This way the menu is independent of the page in a way. This got rid of two pages, the info page and the portfolio page, now they are just part of the home page. Thanks for the advice.

nice and clean, and nice imagery, as well.

only real peeve is your menuing. i'd suggest looking around for something that would make your drop-downs sticky; it's a real pain to have to make the extra clicks to go from one collection to another.
