That is absolutely amazing - some of the simulated 'snow' is almost too good to be believable ! WOW.

Simply amazing. The only thing that I noticed was that some tires look fake and that's because they're not dirty. The cars that are on the street should have grayish looking threads and not the pitch black shiny finish we see in many of the images.
I didn't notice at first they were miniatures. Very impressed. |

At first, I was wondering where you got all these vintage cars, then I thought,no, they're really old pics, then I realised...Holy crap, miniatures!

Just to clarify, I did not take these photos, though I wish I could claim credit for them =) |

I knew something wasn't right because the photos looked too good. The models fooled me. |

That is some of the most stunningly realistic model work I have ever seen. The work itself combined with the photography gives such a feeling of realism that I sometimes had a hard time believing I was looking at a model! Uncanny stuff. |

Very, very impressive! Some of those - especially the B&Ws - you'd be hard pressed to know they're not real without really studying them. (Although I think what gives some of them away is that the cars and houses are too clean - there's no dirt on them.)
I love that he included setup shots - the way he puts the models on the table and aligns them with real buildings/trees/etc is simply masterful!

The only thing that don't look lifelike, is that none of the cars are beat up the way some of them were back then.
It took a lot of time and practice to get those shots right. I'm impressed.
Thanks for sharing the link.
