after following rebecca's original my stolen photo thread for the past two years, and then seeing her new faye mozingo's still at it thread, i did a google search on faye's favoriate handle: maf04

HOLY CRAP!!! talk about an obsession!! i don't think there's hardly a photo-sharing site on the planet that she hasn't joined!

these were just to one's at the top of the list. i took a peek and listed the ones where i saw images similar to her MO.

my mind reels at the extent of her reach...

since she published her email address on some of these sites, i sure she wouldn't mind people reaching out to her, at least for some technical advice on how to achieve such stunning imagery: mozingo1@gmail.com

Drug charges, faking her own death, and two years later she's still at it. She's clearly mentally ill, but the fact that she faked her own death rather than fess up tells me that she knows full well that what she does is wrong. This is why I've got her on a Google Alert.

Also, yes, the list is long. In my experience, most of the time Google just delivers up a profile that we found two years ago when this was all fresh, and which was subsequently emptied after a flurry of emails with webmasters.

*sigh*

maf01 will get even more, including this one. I wonder if she's ripping off Thomas Hawk, too.

Disturbed woman there. If only she applied all that work to actually learning the craft herself...

Sounds like this girl is out of a really great book I read called Snakes In Suits, all about how psychopathy can help vault certain types to the top of their profession.

Maybe someone could ensure that she actually does die this time?!

Wow. Some people...

I feel bad for the people she stole her pictures from, and kinda glad that mine are not of that quality yet. What a headache to deal with!

From what i've read in the threads it doesn't seem like this woman is stealing other peoples photos to get to the top of any profession. I very much doubt that anyone would be able to do that with low res images copied off webistes. She may be attempting to win a few online competitions perhaps, but certainly doesn't come across as a female Mr Ripley. Rather, it seems she is a woman with many emotional problems who has perhaps become addicted to getting attention and praise off people online. It seems a very sad story and i feel quite sorry for her really.

This is entirely true, and she will do nothing but pull you into her insanity if you try to hit her down like a whack-a-mole every time she pops up somewhere. It will never stop. She will never get the message because it is a sickness.

Sometimes I question the mental state of the folks here so hellbent on protecting their little precious. Long live vanity!

You object to people decrying a violation of Federal law? Hyperbolic "solutions" aside, the subject of the thread is a persistent violator of intellectual property rights, and I don't see any justification for demeaning those who object to their rights being infringed.

Sex is her friend. Sex is very relaxing and good for mental health. If she is smart she could even make some money out of it, if she is smarter she could make career out of it. She does not need to go to extends of stealing others photos.

Nope. I signed up to get a closer look. This one has someone else's signature. Tin Eye points me on another to a bunch of Japanese websites, but I can't read anything there. Though here it has a watermark.

ETA: And I just warned the site via "Contact Us".

I said near enough the same thing to my late Grandmother the last time she got done for nicking frozen food in Tescos. She wouldn't listen though. I think its a generation thing.

That's a Chinese watermark (CN). I think there are also a lot of Chinese websites that are quite free with the use of others' photos and artworks.

My apologies for questioning the mental state of others. By all means continue on with the death wishes. I'll bow out now.

i really think the only viable short term solution would be for her to lose access to any of the harddrives she's managed to store her harvested inventory. that might still her long enough to get her shut down on the sites she's on. i guess it's fortunate that she's such a creature of habit and has not yet displayed the chameleon-like characteristics that some other webavores use to cloak themselves...

I was being facetious, yanko. Christ in a sidecar, I lose my temper ONCE at a person whom most others agree is a blatant thief, and get pounced on for it. That's what happens when you stick your neck out.
