After the drama a couple years ago in which this image thief faked her own death, I put her on a Google Alert and today Google delivered a fresh account, established last month, full of what are very likely stolen photos. None are mine in this round, but my lack of trust for this woman is such that I don't dare blink.

Faye Mozingo's new JPG Magazine account

Please take a moment to page through and make sure none of "her" photos are actually yours.

Happy holidays to all!

A quick search with tin eye found this Scottish Art Gallery selling the boat picture.

Interestingly, the link leads (now) to a dead end. No Faye found right now. :) Oh darn....
Speaking of Tin Eye, it no longer works on our images as they appear "too small" because of the overlay. :)

The overlay isn't on photos that are yours...I've used Tineye on some of my photos here recently and it worked just fine.

Wonder what I'm doing wrong then. Just tried and it told me the image was too small, lol. Has to be 100 pixels on at least one side and it's WAY over that.

Open one of your photos to the actual photo page, then right-click: properties, grab the URL and copy it (Ctrl-C), then paste the URL into the appropriate place on the Tineye page.

ETA - I'm using IE v7.

There's an even easier way to use Tineye. Use their bookmarklet. The instructions are in their FAQ.

The other day, I reported her to the admins at JPG Mag and sent them the links to the Scottish art gallery and the threads here discussing her behavior. They took her out shortly thereafter.

Hey all, I haven't been around in many years, but was just recounting the take of Faye Mozingo to a friend who's currently dealing with a copyright infringement issue of her own, thought to give her a search and discovered a couple fresh profiles. I haven't dug too deeply, but it's probably worth looking through.

Waves and hugs to all my old friends here, maybe I'll find time for this again someday.

holy cow, seeing that name in the forum gave me a warning-will-robinson moment :D

i pass by four oaks, nc a couple times a year, but have never had the time to get off 95 and try to swing by her place to say hi. one of these days...

cheers, rebecca, hope all's well!

I picked one image at random from the digitalrev gallery, did a tineye search, and got 168 hits. The picture had been making the rounds for 6 years before Faye touched it. It looks like she may have been quiet for the past few years because she was in prison on drug trafficking charges.

That's one troubled woman...
