Haha, there are multi-car wrecks, roads are closed, they are begging people to just stay home. It'll all be gone by noon.

What's happening at your house?

I purchased a home this year with 2 large Fruitless mulberry trees in the front yard. Last night both decided to loose their leaves, all at once. It was quite the thing to hear, and see, and more, a big mess.

Is that normal? Or was it some odd combination of weather conditions that caused it?

I guess it's normal, there are several around town, and every one did the same thing on the same night..Shrug.

Adding I will try to get more info, maybe next year I can have tarps laid out in advance :)

It's raining in NJ. It's supposed to turn to slushy snow after dark. It was in the 60's two days ago.

There was some frost in the mornings a few days ago, but yesterday was ridiculously humid. No real snowfall just yet.

It's been snowing off and on here in Denver. It's been really cold, like in the teens. Very unpleasant, especially when I had to be at work at 6am.

I woke up to my first sight of snow here in Kentucky.

Snowing steadily in VA, but on top of a thick layer of mud. It'll look beautiful till I let the dogs out again :-(

Weather warning all day yesterday and part of today. Part of the province (not where I am) had a blizzard warning.

SNOW! Whoot! Grass is covered. Trees are lined in white. I should go out and play...but it's a bit wet as big fluffy flakes continue to fall.

No fair! It snowed in TX, LA, and AL, but skipped right over us in Mississippi.

Snow here, but that's not surprising here in MI. What is surprising is that the sun is shining, usually, the sun is gone for 4 months at a time in winter.

This is the kind of snow fall in the south I want to see again. I don't know if many remember it, I was only seven years old. Boy was it fun! This much snow falls in the south and everything comes to a stand still - NO school for a week. I remember my mom and dad having a '72 VW Bug. That was one of only a few cars that could travel the roads since we had no snowplows. Never dreamed we would get that amount of snow.
