Once I got started on these I couldn't stop. I had to try images with different variations of busyness and blur.

I did an extra 45 deg rotation by hand & then tried BW. Then, I added a shot of my Mom. Fun. Big files.

I'm fresh out. I haven't picked up the camera in 2 weeks. Busy getting the post Christmas stuff done around here but enjoying those of you who are still posting images.

becomes the extra 45 deg doesn't always produce a good result so it wasn't applied and saved for this image.

Hope you don't mind my jumping in. I just had to try this myself. Here's the original shot of my granddaughter:

Here's a four way rotation:

And then I tried converting the image to a mosaic first and then doing an 8-way rotation:
