Okay, here's where I'm at - I don't have a lot of money to spend, so just looking around the house I think I have a lot of suitable clothes already;

- EDZ merino wool base layer (top and leggings)
- Thermal gloves
- Wool socks
- Peter Storm fleece (bought a few today, this is what I was really missing as I'd used cotton up to now)
- Fleece neck gait
- Sunderland waterproof/breathable rain jacket and trousers (golf stuff that I'd forgotten I had)
- Gore-tex snow boots

The main thing lacking at the moment is the boots; they don't have the right ankle support. But they'll be fine for slopping around in the mud and rain because they're waterproof, and more comfortable than wearing wellies.
