My first choice is Corona, but it is so over done. :(

Will words be allowed for this?

Only if the description has a special rule that says so.

No - but I would personally leave space for words since it's meant to be an advertisement. Just as you would if you did an advertisement assignment for a bureau.

You can use words if you put them in the original photo like this.

I just cut that logo of off a 12 pack.

I am new with this so I was wondering if you don't put words on the picture. Would you have your slogan for the advertising as your picture name below? And would you have to have the advertising on the original picture? Thanks for any help on this.

See the entries in Beer or Soft Drink Advertisement, the first one of these, to see how others dealt with this. You cannot add text to your image in post processing, though you may create text and incorporate it into your original capture.

I just submitted my photo for this challenge. Spent the better part of 10 minutes setting up and taking the shot, another 5 to process and post. Probably the fastest I have ever entered a challenge apart from a couple of times when I decided to shoot and enter a shot 20 minutes before rollover. I expect a high mark from this one too. However I usually expect high marks every challenge. :)

ETA: Although it only took 15 minutes. It sure made me thirsty for a cold one.

need thoughts on this, Is the born on date or expiration date on a beer can or bottle considered a major element?
