Hey there, for those of you who have some time I'd love to get a critique of my keywords from my portfolio. I'm making sure I'm doing it right, and maybe common things I'm NOT doing. My work at shutterstock has already sold and I can't even get views on this one, even though I'm using the same keywords on this one. Any thoughts to why? (Other than just to wait and see longer).
I'd just like to know if I'm doing something wrong so I can learn from my mistakes -

I looked at a couple images and the keywords look fine. The results in the search rankings have a big effect on how the images sell. How the search results are ordered is a bit of a mystery on every site. Shutterstock however bases their rankings heavily on age with new images being favored, which is perhaps why you have seen good performance there so far.

Bigstock does by far not sell as much as Shutter. I started 3 months ago and have about 1,000 files online yet only about 60 sales. The first came in after 3 weeks.

Eyewave, thank you very very much for your reply, I'm sure many people here post to get critiques on this stuff so I appreciate your time, I'm glad my keywords are fine.
Well you know, I went through bigstockphoto forums, and even the boards are pretty dead and there's quite a few people on there talking about having barely to no traffic.
It's a shame, but I'll still upload to all of those places I guess, it couldn't hurt. I also don't have that many photos as others have.
