I liked the pasta better, nice color, great detail.

I liked the eggs better, just my opinion. I thought the light was perfect for the egg shot, but just a little off for the pasta. I liked the tutorial because it showed the use of the furnace filter for lighting - nice idea!

how much does a furnace filter cost anyway?

I think I like the color and the light in pasta better. I would have just framed a little more above and a litle less below. But the colrs and transparencies are jsut top of the top in my humble opinion.

Another vote for the pasta. ;) But the eggs were pretty cool too!

Connie, both shots are excellent. However I'm a lover of b&w. I just think that 'eleven' is an awesome shot which is very well composed. The lighting is fabulous as well. This has to be one of my favourite shots. Excellent job on both photos.

Thanks Connie! I liked the Egg picture better but I also like the noodles. I've never thought about using a furnace filter for that! Good idea. I really need to get some better equipment for taking pics. I need lights, black cloth, backgrounds, etc. For the last challenge I had to use my wife's sweater for the background!!

Hi!
I see this is older, but thanks, I thought it was neat!
Both of them gave me ideas, and I like the pasta AND the egg, especially the texture of the front egg shell!

I'm going to remember that A/C filter to use as a diffuser. Thanks

My vote goes to the pasta too. Interesting setup, excellent outcome. Brilliant photo. Thanks for posting.
