I'm really bummed out in this one. I normally do not take a low score too much to heart, but I really thought I had something with this one.
I really tried...
4.75
I know that my skills and photographic vision are not tops. But for some reason, this time it is really discouraging.

Happens. Some days we don't mind, other days it really brings us down. Turn off scores for the rest of the week and just let it ride. Go vote in the challenge and enjoy all the flowers. I don't normally shoot flowers to share with others, but I do like shooting them and will admit I do like looking at them, too. So try not to fret about it too much (easier said than done, I know!), turn off scores, and enjoy the rest of the week. Shoot more flowers, even! :-) |

The comments I'm getting are almost laughable. (note to self: nothing different, only tack sharp brightly colored flowers).

Can people seriously take a little critisism without whining about it - - sheesh.....you all should see some of the straight up mean comments I've gotten on photos before...no need to to call people idiots or say the comments are "laughable." I can almost guarantee, Jutilda, that I left one of those comments.....I don't think of my opinion as "laughable." |

Self: I don't like the comments I left me. They stink like rabbit poo. And not good rabbit poo either. Like really sick and ill rabbits crapped in a text box and hit submit.
Me: If my shot didn't stink like rabbit poo I wouldn't have leave little rabbit turdlet comments about my image.

Apparently my image isn't so 'bad' that it illicits 'crappy' comments, or good enough to hear something nice. *sigh*
I'll start my comments tonight. Any laughable comments attributed to me are simply the product of my bad sense of humor.

I really liked it, especially the compostition, I could just make out the remains of a flower in it so it does meet the challenge |
