Something tells me it wouldn't be legal, but just curious.. since what I thought might be my "From Above" entry had to be taken at an angle and the lines aren't straight up and down. Might be the difference between submitting or staying out of this challenge, so thought I'd ask!

It is not allowed in basic

It's barely allowed in advanced, any time you skew the photograph you risk the chance of running into being charged with editing " that would change a typical viewer’s description of the photograph". Ill bet the council has a lot of fun trying to determine where that line is from shot to shot.

Dangit! I think it would have taken an image I'm expecting to get around a 5.2 as is to a 5.6 or so.. :gruff: yet I still almost want to enter, just because I'm addicted like that!

Submit it anyway. Worst case scenario, you dont like the score, but you get a bunch of feedback anyway. Best case scenario is that voters completely surprise you.

Good advice! Did a different crop than I was initially intending and it's doing better than I expected (so far.. I know it's still really early) :)

Turns out I was indeed [pleasantly] surprised by the voters! Thanks for the advice :)
