Hey-- very well done - concise, but easy to follow. Very useful. Thanks Judi!
Have you ever done a tutorial on making tutorials? Do you use Camtasia?

Hahaha....no I haven't done a tut on a tut...and yes I do use Camtasia.

Basically I record the screen and audio in small bursts. I then take the clips into Camtasia and edit the clips until there are no long pauses, coughs, tongue ties etc. Then add the before and after credit pages and any music. Then save in HD mode and upload to Youtube. I give Youtube 24 hours to process the HD version before I make it live.

Oh and before anyone pulls me up on the error in the end title pages...I know there is a spelling error...but I don't have time to change it before I go away.

Draganizer is no secret. It is a free action that you can get from Action Central.

Here is my image before Draganizer and after. Open each thumbnail and click between the two to see the difference. It really grunges up the image and is customiseable to the image you are working on. I need to note that Draganizer is not legal for Basic Editing.

Very nice tutorial, Judi! I need to watch it again at home and try it on an image, but I've never worked with "color fill" - can you expand a bit on how that works? Do you just set a tone and apply it to the image in a layer, then mask or erase where you don't want the effect? Really a lovely edit!

Hi Melathia. I use the Color Fill quite a lot....! Here is a video tutorial that I did for the Home Photography Magazine that may help you. It shows you a different way of converting a color image to BW or Sepia using Color Fill layers. It really is just an Adjustment Layer of a single color and then using different blend modes on that layer to give you a different feel to the image.

You're good. My favorite part was listening to you talk. LOL I could listen to an Aussie accent all day. You'd laugh if you heard my Texas one. Thanks for the link. :)

Judi, thanks for the tutorial. We newbies appreciate all the help we can get. For years I've simply put all my eggs in a basket by photographing in macro. I'm a longtime lover of the Arkansas Native Plant Society and served as historian/secretary for 5 years. I'm disabled now and learning to expand my photography with my surroundings. Thank you again.
