There is just something about sunset that makes me want to grab the camera. This was a particularly beautiful end of the day.

| I just wanted to say that I really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and all of the effort that everyone has put into this challenge. I of course also appreciate the time people have spent commenting, and I would like you to know that I really appreciate the support as well as the suggstions, I really feel that side challenges such as these are one of the best aspects of DPC! |

Right the sunny blue skies have given way to a more usual rain here in England so I'm forced to show you a room in my
house where I seem to live lol... originally requested by Deb ( Melethia)
It's a snapshot at ISO400 so don't hammer me too much in the technicals lol

Hi Sidies (sidy is someone participating in a side - ha!). I've been nuts busy, hardly lifting the camera to my face. However, I took some photos at one of our openings on Wednesday. And it's in the city where I live - so before I don't post for another week - here we go:

Just a silly one for today. :-) I did take some shots this evening in my neighborhood - I'll try to find a decent one to post tomorrow.
Thanks for the studio shot,  Lutchenko - I'm very envious! And Colleen, thanks for the non-IR version. :-) Milos, I used that action on this shot, too - but a bit harsher. |

October brings the week-long International Balloon Fiesta, and yes, the people and balloons come from all over the world. Albuquerque is a great place to be in that week.
Here three balloons are heading for the golf course (in the previous IR shot) across Academy St. You can see the extinct volcanoes in the west. |
