I had a graphics company ask me about using a Cincinnati skyline shot for one of their clients. I do not have photos in a stock site - just my pbase gallery, which is where it was found.

It is for an organization's seminar to be held in the cincy area this fall. They want to use the photo for printed materials and promo stuff online for the event. No resale or for profit items. They accepted my quote and contract today!

I'm excited and could get used to some extra income from something I've already shot. I think it's very difficult pricing for something like that. It seems most places use a membership sort of pricing vs. per image. Anyway, they accepted my quote so I'm happy!

Congratulations! I've only ever had one stock sale, and even though Alamy still has my money in hock, it was still a phenomenal feeling!

And, yes. Do post the pic!

This skyline shot. I was happy with it, but didn't really feel that it was anything particularly special.

Looks a little skewed here, but full res looks better.

I had no idea what to charge, but did a little asking around. For limited usage, I charged $275

I wouldn't know how much to charge either, but a sale is a sale! Congrats again!
