LOL that was me, all week I have been staring at my demotivational poster thinking it was fab only to swap it with a last minute entry in motivational (not the same pic I hasten to add!). I thought my demotivational shot was so good at the start of the week. I actually wish I could enter both!

Ooh, De-Motivational is falling seriously behind! 81 to 70. More DPC people are getting Motivated today =:-p

Maybe it's just easier to find a motivational slogan? The demotivators not only need to fit, but they also need to have a humorous, sarcastic bite to them.

My all time favourite demotivator

Does not make me popular when I quote it after being asked a question :)

Oh that's funny. Do you think if the image is so-so and the sarcastic text below suits it and makes everybody laugh, it'll still do well? LOL (my delemma)

You might get a 10 from me and some others, but to score well I would rather go with a neat picture (that's because a lot of voters break down their votes into the different merits of a photo...

I do hope people come up with original concepts and quotes in both challenges rather than copying the 100's already out there on the net.

For me, originality (of the image/quote combination) will be important in this challenege as well as the quality of the image and of course the slogan.

I am really looking forward to seeing all the posters!

This is my all time fave from Despair:Apathy

I think I used to work for the company that inspired this. If the owner did not want to do a job for some reason, he just ignored the potential customer's phone calls until they went elsewhere.

Its Consistency for me... :) :) :)

every time i think of a demotivating word, i double check the despair site to find that they've already used it.

maybe the voters won't be too hard on me if the follow up quote is unique and original, although there is still plenty of time to think of something i suppose

edited to fix grammar

Personally for me its not the word itself but the quote and photo that should be unique IMHO. It would be pretty harsh to vote someone down just on the word.

Now you made me look! I saw one somewhat similar to mine but I think mine's better. Probably the kiss of death ;-)

Ok, I just entered number 75 in De-Motivational Posters. I hope people chuckle as much as I do when I look at it. :~)

I'm in demotivational as well....

Does anyone else do the same as me?

I take the shot I'm happy with and get it submitted.
Then I keep looking at it until I think it's an absolute shocker and wonder why I ever entered it.

This is going to be a fun pair of challenges, regardless of the votes. (I hope I can remember that when my own entry is floundering.)

I want to be the first to say that mine WILL DO HORRIBLE. I think my picture is pure crap on a stick but I like my text. This will be my lowest score to date. Gauranteed!

And no I didn't give anything away. I didn't actually take a picture of crap on a stick. Although that does seem very demotivating. I might change my entry?
