I'd never wonder this photo would sell so well, It has even been rejected on iStock and Fotolia...

Click here to see it on ShutterStock

Well the link works for me but I can't find the # of sales listed there.... maybe I'm just overlooking it. So, how many sales has it made?? and over how long a period of time?

Some on istock (that's where I sell but I bet it's true on all of the selling sites) have images that sell thousands of times in fairly short order, and often they are pics that I wouldn't guess. How I would love a few of those!

I think the number of sells is not shown for viewers on Shutterstock... It is my best seller, which is not that good as the ones you are saying, but it is already the most popular lettuce cultivation...
This one sold 12 times since 03-19. I have only 11 images there, and started at macro photography on the same date (actually it is the very first time I earn some money with photography).

The good thing about microstock photography is that you get paid to learn. Everytime someone votes for you, you get a little bit of cash. And not many leave bad comments either ;-) So all in all it feels better than entering some of the DPC challenges. But I do so love DPC...

I love bad comments at DPC... They teach me to get better...
