Just out of curiosity I checked my comments against the list and only 2 of my 6 are from people who signed on for the challenge. 1 century and 1 enchilada.

Had a slack afternoon so that's me done. I have to say that there weren't quite as many 'gems' as I expected. (but thankfully there were still quite a few.)

I'll try and comment a few more later. I'm off to watch Manchester United now.

Can I just say how much I HATE that DQs reset the order of the photos? It makes commenting on consecutive images a real hassle, as one has to advance through the comments one has already made, which in turn resets the "marked as helpful" if someone has marked it helpful, which means they have to do it again later.

You have rated 284 of 1128 images (25%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 112 images (10%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.1866.

I didn't do it in random order like I was supposed to. I only commented on images that moved me. I also didn't vote unless I could give an honest 5 or above. I gave out 3 10's and 3 9's so far. There is lots of mediocrity but plenty of OH WOW too.

I too have taken another path. I voted on ALL the entries first and now I am working my way through again commenting on each. My cunning plan allows me to revisit my scoring and adjust where I have been a little harsh/soft. Hoping to finish by June!!!

hmmmm... I can't see any DQs. Maybe I finished my first-pass vote on all the images before they were DQ'd, so now I won't see who was DQ'd until rollover?

seeing as we are trying to break all records, does anyone know the record amount of DQ's in a challenge???

Those two entries had added text. Given that this challenge is Advanced Editing with essentially no date restrictions, I think it's unlikely that we'll have a ton of DQs.

i guessed added text was the reason, as that wouldn't need a validation.

good point about the dates not being a cause for a DQ.

Why do I feel like I received a form letter:

"Congratulations on being part of this 1000th challenge on DPC. Keep up the good work!!"

You have commented on 401 of 1128 images (36%) in this challenge.

What is making this fun and easy is that I have not looked at the thumbnails much and am just letting each picture surprise me as it comes up. It makes it easier to comment with a first impression of each picture in its big size. Then I vote and comment at the same time. As you can see I voted on about 15 pictures first but then I decided to wait and do the commenting at the same time. Its really a lot more fun then work but then again I dont have a life! hahaha.

Ai yi yi!

Why didn't I think of that!! Cntrl-V and a 1100+ ribbon is mine. Dang.

Now we gotta audit those things?

1128 cntrl-v's will likely lead to a repetitive motion injury......

I was thinking of not checking that one off, looked a little too form like, but then I thought what if it's langdon or drewmedia, so I checked it.

123 comments so far and still haven't reached 20% in voting, but 'tis bedtime here so I shall pick up again tomorrow when I get home from work. Quite glad I have Friday off or I might not ever get through all of these in voting!

violinist123, do I put you on the Century list or the Whole Enchilada? Post in this thread and you get put on one or the other. :-)

LOL!! Yeah, I can see where that would be a problem.... perhaps if you just offer a few comments on shots you actually like, that would do.
