Google Chrome (it's blazingly fast).
I use Internet Explorer for compatibility.
I also use Safari on my iPhone 3G.
Notes:
- The one thing I don't like about Chrome is when you zoom a page, only the text zooms, not any images.
- Who here uses Safari 4 on Windows? How do you like it? Is it fast? Does it take a lot of resources (memory, processing time, etc.)?

G) Mozilla Seamonkey ... because I've been using it since when it was first open-sourced (anyone remember the old milestone builds? I've still got M15 around somewhere), and I just don't like the Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox way of doing things... :)

| internet explorer 8 (beta) which is verging more firefox way but i recently got firefox and love it!! although prefer favourites of IE so its a dead set i just import bookmarks into IE easier that way |

Regarding compliance, as a developer I hate the fact that IE is so prevalent. When I used to write a lot of JavaScript, it just never worked the same in different browsers. It's obvious IE had the majority of market share, because they implemented things however they wanted - compliant or not, because developers had no choice but to support IE by writing two versions of their code - one for FF/Safari/others and one for IE. Total PITA.
Now I write primarily flash so there are fewer issues of this nature. Thank heaven.

Don't get me started on the new Office 2009 - please don't make me look through a ton of icons to find what I need. Have you learned nothing from Google - search don't sort.

How can a company of MS's size/power/$$$ do everything so terribly wrong? But hey, they look sleek, right?

I totally feel your pain. I pass on almost all design work that comes my way and stick to the development side(ie server side code) of things because I usually get bit in the arse by some stupid IE quirk.
The average web surfer probably doesnt realize it but I have yet to encounter anyone that does not solely work in a microsoft vacuum that doesnt complain to some degree about IE. |

| I use Chrome almost exclusively. Sometimes use IE7 for a couple of pesky sites that say Chrome is an unsupported browser. |

| I use Maxthon. It allows u to open a new tab by left clicking a picture or a tag, flicking/moving it to the right and opening it or it's contents in a new tab. Does any other browser do that? because i cant seem to do without it. |

Google Chrome allows you to do that.
Right click on any link and you get the choice to open in a new tab a new window, a new Incognito window (which is a feature of Chrome which means all activity in that window is not tracked in the history), you can save the link or copy the link address.
I've been using Chrome shortly after its release and have no complaints. There are a few site where there are compatibility issues but very very few in my experience. |

Not really the same thing. I simply click a link with the left button and drag it slightly to the right, a new tab pops open. I tried that right clicking and have to scroll navigate through options. Download it try it and you'll see it gets very addictive. I dont know any other browser that does it. |

Are u sure??? because i'm trying it in explorer and firefox, none of them work. Only way i can open a new tab is to right click and scroll to new tab. Thats a days journey by Maxthons standards. |

| never have trouble with IE7. seems to work great. cant figure out what the big deal is about folks using FF. IE7 seems perfectly ok. someone care to elaborate? |

Its been elaborated on. From a typical user standpoint you will likely not notice much. However if you ever develop any web sites or client side javascript IE requires all sorts of tweaks and hacks in the code to get it to work properly because its not nearly as complaint and forgiving as the other browsers out there.
That being said, from a non-development point of view firefox with is extensions allow you to add all sorts of cool functionality to the browser that IE can only dream of attaining. Various tools for web development, exif data viewers for images displayed on a web page and the list goes on. |
