(of course I'll ignore the fact that there's a lot more interest in hers (22 view vs. 9 views) and I'm trying to ignore the fact that whenever I post my score goes down... but still, I'm ahead of limerick!!)

hhahah. Its not hard to get ahead of limerick. I have a few entries that prove that! I am catching up to you tho! :=)

sitting under the rock eating pizza and drinking beer....

I am amazed at the number of entries that do not show skin. People have skin. Animals have skin only a lot of them would have to be shaved to see it, fruits and vegetables have skin. Pudding can have skin if you let it sit too long. However the list is long and distinguished of pics in this challenge that do not show skin, or you cannot see the skin because it is hidden under XXXXXXX. So how does that show skin if it is underneath and you cannot see it?

Ok, rant over.

Well, when I had 13 votes and 6.75 in light on white I was stunned. When it held up and didn't plummet later I questioned my grip on reality!

Here, at 13 votes in Skin, I actually have a 7.00....... So either this is Bizarro-DPC or I am Bizarro-chrome.....

(bite your tongues, Judi, Bear, K10DGuy!!!!!). :-).

Getting whacked as people don't believe I complied with the rules: Ohh well there goes hours and HOURS of setup to do it in camera then :(

Is anyone else getting low voted for not having human or animal skin in the shot?
03/04/2009 03:36:35 AM · #50
Well I don't have human or animal skin in my shot, but I assume I'm being voted down because my shot sucks. I think we need to give voters a break - great shots will rise to the top regardless. Orvaratli's winning shot this week is a perfect example in my mind - an absolutely stunning image with a more tenuous link to the challenge description still rises to the top.

No offense to you personally Lutchenko - there is always the exception to the rule - take hesitant's puzzled entry this week for instance.
