Why would you start a thread like this?
02/22/2009 03:32:30 PM · #3
The movie.

IT is a movie with Uma Thurmen in it, Torrentino movie. Black and white, colour

I believe that once you have looked past the blood and gore, it is really an amazing cinematic photographers paradise. Blood and gore is good too, because they dilute it with the black adn white scenes. Very cleverly done IMP

I know what it is but I'm just trying to understand why you started a thread with a "=0)" and said nothing about the movie.

We're gonna have a hard time finding a Torrentino movie to base a challenge on; we'd have more luck with Tarantino flicks I'm pretty sure. I, too, think "Kill Bill" is an exceptional piece of art, once you look past the gore. In general, Tarantino is remarkable, once you look past the gore. My favorite of his is "Pulp Fiction", though... I'm exceptionally fond of "From Dusk till Dawn", a hysterical (and gory) and beguiling take on vampires, which was written by Tarantino but directed by Robert Rodriguez. It has Tarantino in a starring role alongside George Clooney, and also features Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis, and Cheech Marin in an absolutely hysterical supporting role as the proprietor of a vampire titty bar.

Kill Bill is my fav movie of all time!!!

I, personally, didn't think that Kill Bill was that great. I enjoy Taratino's films, but I felt that Kill Bill had a lot to live up to and it didn't quite get there. I think that a Tarantino challenge would be fun, though.

Jules: "Then what do they call it?"
Vincent Vega: "They call it a "Royale" with cheese."
Jules: "A "Royale" with cheese! What do they call a Big Mac?"
Vincent Vega: "A Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it "le Big-Mac"."
Jules: ""Le Big-Mac"! Ha ha ha ha! What do they call a Whopper?"
Vincent Vega: "I dunno, I didn't go into Burger King."

Like Bear_Music, "Pulp Fiction" and "From Dusk Till Dawn" are among my favorites. Perhaps this could be widened to a Tarantino challenge, for those who aren't "Kill Bill" fans...?
