I wanted to see if anyone here was going to head to Vegas for the WPPI Convention? I will be heading there and it will be my first time.

Anyone who's been there in the past, do you have any suggestions?

Having just spent 2 weeks in Vegas my suggestion would be to bring plenty of money, for food. We hold (held, next year it moves to Denver) our national trade show in Vegas and I've been going for the past 20 years or so. Over the past year Vegas has gotten SO expensive it is ridiculous.

Sandwich at Mandalay Bay convention center $9.95, add a drink and chips $16.00
A beer at the Jester Bar in the Excalibur $7.00 (yes I was the fool)
3 tacos at the Boarder Grill $28.00, 5 margaritas at 11.00 each
Dinner for 2 at Nine Fine Irishmen (2 fish and chips and 4 ciders) $90.00
7 or 8 100 ounce Margarita tubes and diner for 5 at Margaritaville $700.00

Is pricing at trade shows discounted? I just realized I will be in Vegas the last day of the show and was thinking of stopping by if I can get good prices (at some trade shows they sell stuff, at others they don't - what about WPPI?)
