Temps tonight have plunged to 58 degrees F here in Miami after only getting to about 73 this afternoon.

I was kitesurfing without a wetsuit less than two weeks ago. It'll be a week before I can go back in the water without the wetsuit.

They just showed a clip on the news of a guy from a TV station in Minnesota he threw a cold glass of water in the air and it evaporated before it hit the ground, just vanished in mid air like magic., Now that is cold. was thinking about trying that tonight but known my luck Id throw it into the wind and freeze my self in the process.

31F / WC23

I can stand it when it gets cold here because we never see a good snowfall. I wouldn't mind it so bad if we go a good layer of snow, 4 or 6 inches. Something to kill this bug that's going around. I have been sick with this cold, flu, whatever for almost a week. :(
<rant>sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever, noisy stripper upstairs, so no medicine lets me rest feeling!</rant>

I guess it's warm here... it's 5 above in Pittsburgh.

That's not too terribly bad, until you consider we went without heat last night and much of today. We're having weird and highly disturbing electrical problems at our house, so we had the furnace off last night. I'm not sure whether I'll leave it on tonight or not. We've been getting weird power surges where some of the lights come on extremely bright... breakers tripping, and on and on. It's like a freakin' scene out of Poltergeist.

My wife and daughter are (rightfully) freaked out and are staying at a hotel tonight. This blows.

That's +54F not negative 54F, just for clarification!! They're only calling for a low of 38F tonight.
