I seem to be having an on-going, extremely time-consuming and frustrating auto-rotation issue with my images that I'd like some advice on.

The problem is that Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and Windows Picture Viewer don't seem to be noticing the auto-rotate tag on my pictures, so I have to rotate them manually. I'd be happy if the issue stopped there, but when I rotate them manually, in each of those programs, some of the images get distorted. It's kind of like the image gets cut in sections and the different sections are colored differently. Then, I have to go through them individually again to see which ones were distorted, delete them, grab the originals from my camera, and start the process over again for those images.

Has anyone here ever had this problem? If so, how did you stop this from happening?

I can't speak to PaintShopPro, but Windows Picture Viewer is a pathetic piece of junk. YOui can download Irfanview for free, and it is a great viewer that should handle autorotation easily.
