Hello fellow dpc'ers

Wondering if anyone is from the Adelaide area in Australia that could recommend a store or two in the area with good reputations or any to definitely avoid.

Thanks in advance,

Danny

Hi,

My dad swears by Ted's on Rundle St, but cameras in Aus. are quite expensive & I doubt Ted's will give much discount. However, if it's customer service you're looking for, he seems to have received it from them (over the last 10 years).

If it were me, I'd research the cheapest non grey-market price & go mail order, but I'm not big on customer service (if I have a 1 year Canon warantee, I'm happy with that).

all the best.

Diamonds Camera Video & Digital, James Place Cameras and Photographic Wholesalers are all very good in Adelaide.
Cheers John

Can't go wrong with JB Hifi, for the more basic cameras, if you know what you want, and don't need expert photographic advice. And I'd negotiate, as much as possible, in this economic climate......they're usually prepared to price match with any competing deal elsewhere.
Oh, and buy soon, to avoid price more rises from currency downturn recently.
