Announcing my first Seattle Workshop, here is the rundown:
The weekend will kick off with a free lecture at SPA studios on Friday 1/16/2009 7-9pm "Evening of Conversation and Inspiration with Dean of Vh1's The Shot".
Priority seating for workshop attendees, you do need to reserve your spot regardless by emailing when@seattlephoto.org.
WORKSHOP INFO Saturday 1/17/2008 9.30AM at SPA Studios //seattlephoto.org/
• $250 per photographer
• Workshop limited to 14 photographers will take place at The Seattle Photography Associates Studios and will cover both indoor and outdoor lighting techniques
• Lighting / studio equipment on hand for use by all attendees
• Hands-on lighting techniques & photography teach followed by a challenge will take place 10am – 4pm, with critique to take place theafeter, where best shots will take valuable prizes.
• Food and beverages will be provided for attendees
• On hand will be agency signed female and male models, stylist, hair stylists, and certified make-up artists. Wardrobe will be exclusively made for the workshop by a local Fashion Designer.
• All photographers attending the workshop will have access to professional lighting equipment but should bring their own cameras and laptops (if possible), as we will download images for viewing and the critique. We will have additional computer(s) available for download if needed.
• Please dress comfortably and warm:)

I'm signed up! I missed the Seattle DPC GTG this year, so hope some of the Seattle-area folks can make this workshop--an Indoor GTG in January: what a concept :-)
