1) People that think because I work from home I have loads of time on my hands
2) The collection company that refuses to accept that John Carter does not live here!
3) Football fans that insist that their team is going to make the playoffs despite being 4-6.
4) Commenters on online articles that only say "First!!!" C'mon people if that is your biggest thrill in life, its time to die.
5) Charger fans, Raider fans, Chiefs fans.
6) People that tell me, you don't like hockey because you've never been to a game. No, I don't like hockey because I grew up watching real hockey (its just not the same anymore).
7) Texans and Arizonans that think they know how to drive in the snow.
8) Black Friday hype.
9) Anything _____gate (i.e. MonicaGATE, IranGATE) enough already!!!!
10) Combining of celebrity names (Brangelina, Tomkat-that one almost made me vomit the first time I heard it).
11) Hugh Grant

1. Network Marketing schemes (Especially Amway, but even referral models on Microstock agencies get my goat!)
2. People who say ex cetera instead of et cetera
3. Dodgy current affairs shows in Australia
4. Dishonest politicians (I'm still fuming about the children overboard scandal, and that was years ago).
5. $1,300 (per quarter) electricity bills

Ooh, this is fun!

There's a really, really bad one out there right now called "Monavie". Look it up. It preys on people's insecurity about health, and offers them an overpriced product that is, of course, "the greatest thing ever." (when isn't it for a multi-level marketing scheme right?). Then you of course become a distributor and sell your soul to get as many people under you as you can in order to make some money off the tiny commissions that all trickle up to the people in power. It's so sad.

My sister-in-law got hooked up with Monavie, what a frickin' scam.

One of my co-workers friends got hooked up with an energy drink called "BAM!" I don't think she had friends after about six months. Anyone that said something like "oh, I am tired" was immediatly hit with- "you need a Bam" and she always had them with her- ALWAYS!!!

My sister-in-law is almost certainly going to hook up with Monavie, despite my links and warnings and concerns. They have to find out for themselves, in the end.

Spelling the plural of a word with an apostrophe and then an s.

One Photo
Two Photos
Three Photos

One dog
Two dogs

It seems pretty simple... but folks just want to use the apostrophe, I guess.

If something BELONGS to the photo (such as a border) THEN one would use an apostrophe and an s.

Do you like the photo's border?

Don't take the dog's bone.

It especially bothers me when I see "photos" incorrectly done on a professional photographer's website. *sigh*

Ok... that's my rant. Who's up next? *grin*

1)Lazy Co-workers who wait for you to do things so they dont have to (surprise!! the boss let me go home early now get to work :D )

2) Gift exchanges. I usually try to get nice things for people, and then I get the crappy stuff. IE - pretty set of earrings and I get a card. Just a card. It wasn't even signed.

3)People who arrive exactly at closing time, and hold you back another 20 minutes (I have a life you know)

4)People who call you and after telling them Thank you for calling ***** they ask you is this the *****

5)People who think because I provide a service, they can huff and puff and be rude. Surprise - my boss says the customer IS NOT always right and so do we. We even have a sign, we sold our cow we dont need your bull (as a matter of fact I once told a lady to get the hell out and never come back)

6) People who dial the wrong number, say its the wrong number, and then call back again.

7)People who say "Do you know who I am?" and even if I do I say no, and I still make them give me a thumbprint and a drivers liscense number on their checks (IE the town sheriff-major hag from hell) - I love doing this one.

8)People who call to ask a question - dont wait for me to give them an answer and tell me their life story

I'm SOOO with you on that one. In fact, I can't believe I left it off my list! I made myself a bit unpopular on one of the rant threads (titled camera's vs gun's) by being a grammar nazi :)

- Going to the dentist
- Highway drivers who "get ahead" by waiting until the last moment to merge into a single lane; city drivers who cause gridlock
- Overly loud, aggressive persons
- Tongue depressors
- FOX News
- Fake boobs and inflated lips
- Rodents
- Crowded or claustrophobic places
- Bad grammar or spelling, unless it is my own, in which case it is just human error
- People who chew with their mouths open!

hmmm...

Driving.
Explosive diarrhea.
Unintentional projectile vomiting
Ohio
Plague
Disease
Pestilence
Bad coffee
Someone else's smelly farts
Stepping on something gross barefoot. (Dog poo, cat barf, long dead squirrel)
Removing the decaying possum from under the deck.

That's a start anyway.

I completely agree with the chewing with your mouth open one! I have a coworker who does that alllllll the timeeeeee and I can never bring myself to say anything to him because he's twice my age and he should friggin' know better by now. But someday I am going to snap.

When people say eXpresso instead of eSpresso.

Rear wheel drive on little pickup trucks in the snow.

Tendonitis.

How expensive it is to travel.

Needing a work visa to work abroad in Europe.

There, that was theraputic :)

When I read this one, I was reminded of diesel vehicles idling in the frozen tundra during the winter months, and how they idled whenever they were not in use...including the night. If you stopped them there was no say in H**l you would get them started again.

The other thing I remembered is the cloppity clop of the tires which seemed to have a flat spot until such time as they warmed up enough to regain their round shape. :O)

Hmmm...
- People who don't signal &/or shoulder check
- The misuse of there/their/they're as well as your/you're and too/two/to.
- When my hard drive crashes
- Choking on my own spit
- Charlie horses
- When I trip over myself
- I'm the pickiest eater so I will just name a few food dislikes: onions, olives, anchovies, most seafood..
- When my stomach growls so loud that I think my phone is vibrating.. ah the disappointment.
- Winter driving- I avoid it at any cost. lol :)

I'm sure there are many many more, but this will do for now :)
