Hah! It's very entertaining to see other peoples' solutions. I love them! :-D

I love that game.
My kids spent a while on it too.
This was one of my best inventions
Four balls
11/21/2008 07:30:07 AM · #53
I'm just loving these - Bulldozer, Conveyor Belt, and ryanbd's clambering BigBall thing. The kinetics in this game just make me chuckle all the time. Sweet.

Here are a few of mine:

Four Balls - 'Trailer'
Hump - 'Tank'
Downunder - 'Swing Low'
Junkyard - 'Caterpillar'

Edit: Love The Spanker!

BAH! I finally got Tube, with probably the slowest method ever!
Tube
(and yes, I did stop and give it a break for awhile :))

ETA aKiwi, that bridge solution is awesome!

Thanks.. It took me a while. I was happy when it worked.
Your solution is like watching paint dry. I assume it made it in the end.
@Smudge... Pretty cool.

I don't even want to tell you how much time I've spent trying. Pretty sad.
Three's as good as it gets for tonight; I'm done!

I Hate You, Jon! ;) I was up until the wee hours and finally,
after about 500 more "tweakings", got Four Balls!

I am soooo running late this morning and it's all your fault!!

I can't believe how complex this set up is. Just like in real life, I tend to make things difficult for myself.
:)

Four balls - 'Trailer' [correct link]
Awash - 'Plough Power'

Thanks for the link, about 10 hours too late...LOL...why didn't I think to make a tractor and pull them?...too easy.
Mine is much more detailed. I've got to get going. Like I said, I am so late for work and so tired. Oh, wah..

Here's a faster version.

Yeah but a trailer is not as rewarding as a ball spanker or a conveyor belt!
Sorry to hear your life is becoming as tragically overcome by this thing as mine.

That's VERY nice work! A whole different approach, never occurred to most of us to try to MOVE the ball, just to beat it in the race...

You SHOULD be proud; it wasn't an easy thing to make work. That's basically the same solution as mine. I wonder if any other approach to the problem has ever succeeded?

I've got to get more creative - you guys are doing really cool stuff with this!

Shee-it, we are overloading the site, it's not loading at all now...

DAMMIT. I was up for 3 hours working on a very similar solution, but could never get it just right. It either went too fast and I'd lose the last ball, or it'd go too slow and never fully make it up the hill.

Now I just want to cry.

Jon, how can you introduce me to something like this, you evil evil man!

I can get the link to the game to work but none of the links to your various solutions seem to work for me, they just take me to the screen with a PLAY button, I click on it and the level is there, no contraption or anything in sight.

Here's someone else's incredible solution to "Big Ball":

Totally different approach.

Here's a fun solution for "Up the Stairs": I call it Doorknocker

That's incredible. I wish I had the problem solving brain that this kind of thing requires, but I'm more of a linear thinking intellect.

Man, that flinger is awesome, Bear! I just used it for down under:

And I thought today was my day to get caught up on things. The kids are gonna love this when they get home, at least if I let them have a turn.

Oh my god, I got back and forth! That took forever. I would imagine there's a more elegant solution than mine. :)

Back and Forth

This level is easy but I really was amused by my solution!! Haha.

There's one machine that works for like all of them, I'm discovering...it's so funny.

ETA: HAHA it even worked for this one!! I'm so amused.
