INIGO: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.
MAN IN BLACK: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.

MIRACLE MAX: Have fun storming the castle.
VALERIE: Think it'll work?
MIRACLE MAX It would take a miracle.

WESTLEY: Give us the gate key.
YELLIN: I have no gate key.
INIGO: Fezzik, tear his arms off.
YELLIN: Oh, you mean this gate key.

I love this movie! Ken and his friends had the whole movie pretty much memorized in college, to the point where they had the fencing choreography almost perfect. They were thinking about performing it as a dinner theater sort of thing, but never got around to it.

During the fencing duel,...

Inigo Montoya: "You seem like a decent fellow. I hate to have to kill you."

Wesley: "You seem like a decent fellow. I hate to die."

-------------------------------------------------------------

May I suggest a challenge with quotes from the movie, "What About Bob?" (It has become a sort of "cult classic" for me...

Being Leo Marvin! (As opposed to Being John Malkovich!) Warning this is an Insanity Mix (which, of course, makes it on the average for me!) :}

The link is an audio creation that I made a few years ago using Sony Acid Music Studio 3.0 Express which shows that I was really starting out. I'm sure that it at least matches my photographic prowess! (BTW, Don't hurt yourself laughing at that comment!) :}

Ok, just to let those of you PRINCESS BRIDE fans know...

The movie just celebrated it's 25th Anniversary and they are releasing the movie on Blu-Ray. ;)

It's one of those movies that, if you don't see it in the era of it's original release, you probably won't enjoy it half as much if at all. Same is true of watching most of those classics again 25 years later (Blazing Saddles, Stripes, Porky's, etc)

Don't think i ever saw it so i just checked here; quotes

Miracle Max: You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles.

Oh wow, this is gonna be interesting;

[as Buttercup prepares to commit suicide with a dagger]
Westley: There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. It would be a pity to damage yours.

Like the "It's because I'm green, isn't it?" line from "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas", which was a reference to the big flap in NYC (I think) where a cabbie refused to pick up some celebrity, and the celebrity used the same line, except with a different color...

I know what you are saying -- I have been disappointed rewatching some movies I loved from my younger days. However, I caught a portion of Princess Bride on cable recently and I personally think it has held up a lot better than Blazing Saddles, Stripes, and Porky's.

I think Princess Bride has held up exceedingly well. I'm not sure the quotes lend themselves to interesting photography, though. But we'll have to see. I will enjoy having an excuse to watch the movie again just to find out. :)

My kids think it's as great as I do.
