Thanks Langon!

I am totally stoked to both participate and vote. I'm really hoping to see some of the old timers enter some shots!

Dr. and Yankman... sorry but it says clearly,
"Only those users who have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in 2 or 3 challenges are able to participate in this challenge"

You won't be able to enter. Please vote for my entry though :P

LOL. It does kind of read as if there's a minimum and maximum requirement. I suppose only the second rate need apply. :P

Haha. You totally got me. I was hyperventilating for a second seeing as this is a quote from a post I posted on 10/13/2005..."It was a real trip to see my photo up there. I'd like to be a hog and get another just in case there is ever another "Masters" challenge..." I've been waiting for this for a long time.

So, just to be a pain in the arse...why are you a Master if you have *only* earned two ribbons? ;) Give me a moment to get a beer...

Let's see. If I somehow get two ribbons before the end of the month...then I can scramble to find a shot...so I can be in the middle of the pack like I am in every other challenge. Did I get that right?

:)

edit to add: btw I am REALLY looking forward to the challenge of voting nothing but 7+ on this. Try to make it easy for me folks. :)

Don't stir it up yet. Let's keep this thread friendly for at least 24 hours. :) (you may not know the kerfuffle with the last one those many years ago)...

Of the 73,000 registered users on the site, I'd be willing to guess the # of 2+ ribbon winners is somewhere in the 250-350 range with many of those no longer participating.

Actually this is like a "mini" masters' challenge. If I was Langdon, and wanted a real masters challenge, I would put at least 7 ribbons or more and must include one or more blue.

Although, there are people got 2 ribbons in short time, which still conceder masters IMHO :)

and "you"... don't give up. Still chance for you to enter too ;)

Now, is that a budlight or coors)light) ?

After this challenge we should have an MFS I vs MFS II ribbon winners battle royal challenge. A challenge to the death of course.

Lets' make that "MFS I vs MFS II ribbon winners battle royal challenge with deer entries only"

Congratulations to all those who have received ribbons. Only those users who have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in 2 or more challenges are able to participate in this challenge.

Sorry, you will need to win 3 more ribbons to participate in this challenge.

So. "2 or more challenges" would mean needing 2 ribbons, but it goes on to say I need 3 more ribbons. Clearly it is not in my future, but is it 2 ribbons or 3 minimum?

Some interesting stats from MFS I:

Average Score: 6.794 Wow!
Highest Score: 8.27
Median Score: 6.6748
Lowest Score: 5.631

The three ribbon winners combined for over 653 favorites (all three got at least 110 favs)! The tenth place finisher got a measely 46 favorites (should have self DQed with that pitiful total). The brown ribbon winner got 4 favs.

For those entering this time around good luck! I doubt any of those records fall. Well maybe the lowest score and brown ribbon favorites.

Well, it took 55+ entries for one ribbon so maybe next spring... :)

I said beer not water!

Sure but first let me burn down a certain park so as to give Alex, Mark and Marac a handicap. :P
