I also started a private lounge to hang out sometimes and discuss photography.
Team members, please join and have some fun and learn new things, too.
It is located here DPCO3_MYSTERY_Team

We are quite a diverse team, by Location, Age, Experience, and equipment.
That can be an advantage. So lets "Shoot first and ask questions later".
I have an Ice Hockey shirt that has those writings on it. It refers to shooting a puck into the goal net.

I'll let you review and/or work on them this evening after work.
Thanks for your help. You must know PhotoShop, Eh? (canadian slang)

This is what I've got so far. I know how to change text/colors now.

I'm still waiting on Jersey # for Intelli

It was a real learning experience, since I haven't done a lot of things in PhotoShop-CS3.
I learned all by intuitive, trial-n-error. I have used all the verisons of PaintShop Pro, now owned by Corel. It has some interesting filters/plug-ins, but I just have it for nostalgic reasons. Lightroom and Adove Bridge are good, too.

I could probably do it again, using the templates, in about 1 to 1-1/2 hrs., and do even better the second time.

1) tried to COPY/PASTE the logo from one .psd to another smaller .psd, choices were greyed-out. flattened a copy, then I was able to PASTE into a New-Layer in the other .psd

2) Now I know how to crop in pixels, not inches, to a particular size.
3) Now I can change gradient colors, and have seen so many things on the f/x menus for a layer.
4) I figured out how to skew/size/distort/rotate, fonts, like the "?" in thje logo.

Love 'em tho' mine's a little big around the belly....but I'll grow into it:)

Have you got the code that enables us to put the banner in our profiles?

1) It's the word thumb, enclosed with the
left and right square brackets like [ and ]

2) then the following number 720537 for the small banner

3) finally the html ending tag, which is the word thumb/
followed by the Foward-Slash keystroke, and then it is
also enclosed with square brackets like above

Example: [thumb]Your_Photo_ID_Number_Here[thumb/]

You can put this into anywhere you type text. One common place is into your "Forum Signiture".
That is arrived from the "My Home" then "My Preferences" drop-down menu on any dpc web page.
For a Large, Logo-only use, 720541

EDITED:
Medium Banner ID # is 720879
Large Banner ID # is 720878
Thanks to Louisa for her assistance of graphical skills.

Photos with their IDs are stored in my portfolio and on Louisa's portfolio.
The IDs alway show up if you have a box on you web browser that displays your URL,
also known as web address. You can enable your web browser to display this.

Week #1! Just checking in to see if everyone's submitting this week?

Also, be sure to check out the scoring system.

THE GAMES HAVE STARTED
The Olympic Monolight-torch has been passed!
The crowds are cheering...
Some are yelling words I can't repeat here.
They're shooting us with their Point-n-Shooters.

Stretch, warmup, and shoot...

Photos of photos, posters, artwork as the main (70-100%) of their subject, usually don’t do very well. Rules even say that the majority of a photo has to be a subject. A photograph/DLP-Projection as the background or a person holding a cut-out of something they photographed(like a small person) is great and acceptable.

That's not bad, it's above average!
And well above 4.xx and 3.xx.
