So I made it through my first wedding! The link to the photos is below. I'm working on my list of things I most need to improve on -- I'm thinking at the top of the long list is fill flash. Your thoughts?

Any comments on the photos in general would be much appreciated (here, not on Flickr pls)! Are the reception photos too grainy? Overkill on the darkened edges? Do you mix B&W with colour shots or stick to one style?

i,m no expert on weddings but i feel you did wonderful ..well done for your first wedding ...how were the nerves?..i guess they were ok couldnt see any camera shake :)

Thanks for the kind words. Lemeryj gets credit too -- he was my 2nd shooter and on his first wedding too.

Thanks for all the comments dwterry -- really appreciate it!

My black & white technique is a Gradient Map adjustment layer with a Channel Mixer adjustment layer beneath it. Then I really boost the reds.

Any advice for my next wedding? :)

wow i love i absolutely LOVE that there are so many different backgrounds, and so many different fun poses as well as formal ones as well, the bride and groom seem as if smiling is their thing so that really just adds to the pictures

Diane, you did a wonderful job! Love the photos, love the angles and really love the b&w shots. Great work, they will be so pleased.

Had a quick scan and you seemed to of done a sterling job. Have the couple seen them yet? any feedback?
