Well, I just entered the world of dSLR, and it's going to take me a while to get into it, however, just a few questions for the E510 users here.

I have read a few views about the noise reduction system on the E510 and wondered what settings you use.

At the moment I have it set to Low, but one review suggests simply turning it off...

My friend pointed out today that in a few of my landscape shots I took earlier, that there simply isn't the detail you would expect from a dSLR.

What do you think?

Noise reduction is really only necessary if you use extended shutter settings. (i.e. nightshots).
In fact, with it set on, I don't believe that you can take advantage of the 3.5 shots a second.

I'm not talking about noise reduction, I'm talking about the noise filter, it's two separate things completely.
