My first pick for AUGUST is Ken, Art Roflmao as he is truly an amazing person, and so so funny, and often makes me laugh.

He is also a true DPC member, and contributes to this amazing web site.

He is also a wonderful husband, father, and family man, as one can see this with his photos. Ken is also one of my dearest DPC friends, and I adore his young son Riley.....

Hers is a small token of his photography.

Not one of them, no PM's or emails at all, and I am unsure why this is happening, as I am receiving PM's from others at DPC.

Haven't seen him lately, but Davidus428 has got some lovely work, I like his black and white emotive portraits most.

He does lovely macro work of bugs, and tablestop/studio stuff too like this one:

Excellent choices from you both.
I have added 'user names' to the list.

Here is one DPC person that is a real 'favorite of mine', for as long as I have been here at DPC.

His name is Richard, and his user name is yanko

Here are some of my favorite images, from his amazing portfolio.

His portfolio is so varied, with some amazing images, and excellent processing skills.

Enjoy.....

undieyatch

There are a lot of good photographers on this site but few that have inspired me as much as André's work. What makes him different from most is he opens his eyes, his mind, and his heart and it is at that moment when his shutter opens. Just a few of his photographs:

Second week of August already, so here is another favorite DPC photographer for you to enjoy.

Sue suemack is a dear friend of mine, who lives in New Zealand, and she has helped me so many times this past 12 months, when I was unable to see properly.

I also feel Sue is often seen in our DPC threads, and is a loyal supporter of DPC, and has left many comments on many of your images.

Sue works with animals, and some of her 'emotive' pet images are a legacy of her wonderful way with animals. She often visits the elderly, with some of those pets she works with, and again these images are so moving, and very emotive.

I hope you visit Sue's portfolio, as I am sure you will be moved to tears, but in a good way.

Thank you Sue, for being my friend.

OK, I hate to pick someone who simply needs no introduction--except for people who have recently begun here, because he seems a little AWOL at the time: De Sousa

I'm someone who often feels wooden-headed when it comes to shooting "concepts", and this guy is absolutely the master in my book, with superb post-processing always. If he's not, he ought to be one of those gajillionaire stock sellers through Corbis or Getty or something.

Here's some of my favorites, all challenge entries:
