Hi everyone, I just create my website, I'll try to get some money in my free time in order to earn for new equipment.

I want to know how to promote my site to have more clients ? I'm sure some of you are in the same channel, what are you doing ? =)

Regards from Monterrey, mexico. =)

Not sure what to tell ya. get listed on Google, Yahoo, and any other search engine. Have to have the metadata in your site to help with that. If its for portraiture, I would also look into local postings, ads, etc.
You can also list yourself on Marketing Tools. The more your name is out there....well...what I am hoping for, anyway for the one below. (C:

Local advertising and search engines are the best. For the first while, you getting your site seen is going to depend on your own marketing efforts. Takes awhile for search engines to get you indexed and for your rating to rise.

I see you have keywords programmed in the meta tags, but you should also have a description in there also.

Good luck!

Hi
I will definately say get listed on search engines, it really helps.
I started a an export company as an experiment when i was in colleage and you belive that just because i researched on how to figure on top search result that in google that my company was always placed at top as compared to companies who had been doing business for last 50 years and i am not only speaking about companies from my country but all over world.

Second suggestion is to make your site multilingual, english is must.

Get listed in portals where you have directories for freelancer or photographers that work on assignment basis

Best of Luck

Get a links page up. Do what I call "reciprocal links." You find page simaler to yours, have them link to you and then you link to them. Boost ranking a little at least.

Find and shoot for sites like //www.themethursday.com //www.photofriday.com or //www.sh1ft.org I get more than 400 visitors per month from these sites and its fun.

ALWAYS send EVERY email or forum post with your website as a signature.
