Ha! Now we know why there were landscapes challenges two weeks in a row… Looks like a mid-month free study!

It would seem that Landon has a sense of humour!!! I laughed anyways, It certainly does look like a free study!

Now thinking - is there is way to stick in a landscape and not get DNMC :)

Ha- I already saw it. ;-P

I'm semi-retired from challenges. I haven't shot anything specifically for DPC since March, but I'll probably jump back in at some point.

Ah, but I want to shoot a landscape, seeing I mo\iised those other landscape challenges.... ;-)

Or, as I suggested in the 50 Challenge Idea thread, perhaps I could doa supermanscape. ;-)

Let me guess....this is gunna be a Portrait Challenge????
07/07/2008 03:09:03 AM · #12
I'd suggest shooting in portrait orientation, even if not a portrait. Just to be safe, you know. I'll also go out on a limb here and wager that IreneM will ribbon. :-)

Whine, whine, whine. I am actually going someplace on Sat that will lend itself to landscapes, my first chance at actually being somewhere that might make some decent shots, and they say anything but landscapes. I have no landscapes that are dp worthy anywhere within 30 miles of me, except on Sat I am traveling about 60, where the landscapes are in CT. How could they do this to me?

Hold it, hold it, is a seascape considered a landscape?

Can you say "Free Study"? Shoot all the landscapes and seascapes you want anyway. DPC is an unloving and cold mistress and an unforgiving master. I'm about the chuck the whole shebang.

(Not really. Just whining to fit the thread...)

No I won't, I promise ;-) I don't think I'll even have time to enter.... Good luck, Deb.

I might have a good shot for this challenge. If my cards play out right, I will be dedicating this one to Max

There's always July Free Study.

Free Study? But will voters vote as such, or will there be those judging based on how far removed the entry is from a landscape. ("Great image but I see a tree...")

I'll pay a dollar* to anybody who enters an image titled:

"Anything?! Butt Landscape."

=)

* Not really

Nah, it's just means they'll enter shots of beautiful women, probably close ups. LOL!

This from someone who always says they have little hope of a ribbon every time they enter a challenge? I'm sorry but I can't believe you! :P
