Stay happy, pffree.
I find it impossible to vote on this challenge. I have two comments telling me that my picture depicts no crime. None of the pictures depict crimes, except fictional crimes. The name of the crime that my picture is supposed to depict (fictitiously) is in the title.
OK it's a lousy picture and explaining in the title is a general no no. If I apply the same criteria though, I see 26 pictures that depict no crime, 27 that do (including actual crimes in progress, rather than post-crime scenes, as well as a few that need the title to establish that the scene represents a crime) and 7 'neutrals'. That means I miscounted by 1, but I'm not going through again.
I should know by now, of course. Even so, I either give pretty points and technical points or something like that, or I leave out the voting. Sorry.
Oops . it's a scores thread:

After a week holding steady at a 6.52+ and a new personal best. In the last 2 hours dropping to 5.4712 and a second placement only. Sigh. |

Seems very strange...If you started the 2 hour period with say 160 votes at an average of 6.5, by adding 20 straight '1s' would only drop your overall score to 5.88....
Or was that 5.4 suppose to be a 6.4?

In the “Even II” challenge the difference between 4th and 3erd was about .16, I dropped .08 in 3 hours. I wonder if your statement would be the same if you lost a ribbon in 6 hours?

The votes at the start of the challenge count just as much as the votes at the end. It is what it is - and enjoy a great score. I will be looking forward to see who belongs to each entry (I chickened out on mine and did not enter my shot in the challenge...I think I should have in hindsight)

Well, an all time new low for me...5.4 - that'll teach me to enter challenges other than free studies! I wouldn't mind it, but I don't think my image warrants such a low score, but that's the nature of the beast in these challenges...interpretation of the theme that is! :( |
