Just a phase, I'm sure... and as my mother always says, this too shall pass.

Anyway, best of luck to all ye who are indeed entered!

When that happens to me I tend to force myself out into a place I'm comfortable with shooting and just snap as much as possible. Try different ideas, perspectives or challenges and don't worry about the scores. Just look at the number of times you've been favourited - you might be doing something right! :)

Someday I hope to actually enter a challenge again. I don't know if I got burned out or if I am just worn out. I prefer to think the latter.
One week after having the bad experience of giving blood and ending up in the hospital I almost ended up there again. Due to one week at home in bed for the most part and lots of pharmaceuticals, I seem to be improving. Luckily I seem to have just scraped by underneath pneumonia, whewwww.
Weather is lovely and I've been stuck inside the house in the bedroom area. And big boss at work is having a cow that I'm sick. She's such a caring person ...
Enough of that. Hope everything else is going well in Suck Land.

Well I am not quite sure why sometimes, but I guess I am here for another year, as I have just renewed my membership again.

Now, can we put diapers on these monkeys? (and get the newbies to change them?)

Poor Jeanne! I hope you're back to yourself in no time. I think we need another gtg to help you get some new challenge entries.

hey all. it's been so long that i'll just say: YAY for all who deserve it, HUGS for all those who need them, and hello to everyone.

i actually took some pictures today - first time in a while. went to ross farm, as usual, in the rain, and shot the sheep and cats. photographically.

last week i actually giggled. i think the first time in 5 years. it felt wonderful.

"visiting myself" - did you mean "as well", or is this some existential thing? :-D

I think it's existential.

Nice to hear from you, Christian, and I'm ever so envious of the giggling. Next up - the guffaw. :-)

Oooooh NJ GTG sounds Grrrreat. I can suggest the Grounds for Sculpture.
Or we could just track Don down. Either ones sounds like a hoot.

I have been wanting to go down up to the grounds for a long time. Here some sample abstracts from an instructor.

Grounds for Sculpture would be about 30 miles from where I'd be in NJ, if I correctly identified the right Hamilton NJ (Mercer County's Hamilton?); and I know Kelli is right where I'd be too and Mary is just over the bridge, so for all 3 of us it should be a do-able distance...do we have the makings of a plan, here?

my project for the summer is to get a good shot of this deaf, semi-feral cat at ross farm. these eyes are outrageous. it's really hard to get the attention of a deaf cat.

I'd be interested. The only thing is I'm limited to Sunday's for now. Hubby took a side job on Saturdays and we're on the one car plan at the moment.

Oh geez - can you believe it took me to page 8 of the new thread to find the Monkey House !!

Yikes.

Umm - I'm in Odd. Sitting at an impressive 5.6 right now which I'm beyond happy with.

Hubby is still out of work. 2 months now, with no end in sight.
