OK I'm not an English guru or anything but if the challenge is to post a pic that does not meet this challenge then you may not post any pics. Because if it meets the challenge then it is automatically disqaulified as the rules were to NOT meet the challenge.

So I'm not sure how many of us tied for the BLUE ribbon by NOT posting a pic, but in my opinion EVERYONE that didn't post anything at all is tied for the BLUE ribbon. I suppose those that thought about it but didn't should maybe be tied for the Red ribbon ( we will have to use the honor system for this ). Those that actually took pics and processed before they realized that nothing can be posted should all be tied for yellow. Everyone that posted gets a BROWN.

Sigh. Photos DO NOT get DQ'ed for not meeting the challenge description. They get DQ'ed for BREAKING the rules. The challenge description is not the rules.

There is only one possible way of creating an image that both meets and does not meet the challenge. I patiently await my first DPC ribbon at rollover tonight.

Mine most definitely did not meet the challenge. Just wait, you'll see :)
It was a difficult conundrum, but I triumphed!

Does it scare anyone else how many people think DNMC = DQ? Especially given how many times it's been said that it's not a DQ over the past 2 weeks. Kind of makes me wonder what other misconceptions people have and how those things affect voting etc.

Absolutely freaks me out....
When voting is over look at my image for an example of DNMC You have to read the title to get it... however some of my commenters have found hilarious loopholes to make it meet the challenge. :P

The definition of DNMC is don't never mean crap, fortunatly my image is crap so it does not meet the challenge which makes it meet the challenge so I am not sure if that still meets the challenge which I was not supposed to meet.... Dang, no wonder the voters are confused!

The philosophy challenge exeeded the photo challenge on this one and I've enjoyed seeing the creative and fun ways DPCers have met (or rather not met) it. People's comments are going to be a fun read. Too bad if it short circuited some neurons for bystanders.

I have to agree, DNMC has been the most fun challenge since "stupid gifts" at Christmas time. It's really sad though, that my bizarre DNMC entry is doing almost the same as my warm colors, which I think is really good.

I also thought DNMC was a fun challenge.
My entry got a Posthumous comment. And votes are at better than 5, so I'm all content now : )

Just noticed that all entries in the DNMC challenge that were not disqualified have had an "Honorable Mention" ribbon added on the challenge results pages and on our profile pages. (Apologies if this is already discussed elsewhere.)

Since defining the "criteria" as a paradox yanked so many people in so many directions, I especially appreciate the extra recognition for the brave souls who took a chance. Interestingly, my entry (validated, probably by the skin of its teeth) had more 1's than any of my other challenge entries but also more 10's than any of my others.

All in all, the challenge provoked a lot of thought and lots of laughs. Many thanks to the Site Council or whoever decided to award the ribbons.
