I stopped reading halfway down the thread.

Title = Peek-a-boo.
Details = Let your imagination run wild.

In other words - do whatever you want. We'll all be surprised by the image you produce, just like if we were playing peek-a-boo.

Stop trying to box up the challenge. Just shoot and have fun and consider it a week long free-study. GEESH!

So, IS this a free study? Certainly I can understand people assuming your subject needs to be "playing" peek-a-boo... but that criteria of "let your imagination run wild" lends itself to a free study. I don't need to be met with a bunch of DNMCs if I interpret it as a free study. One of my biggest problems here has been trying to understand a challenge on the basis of nothing much more than a title... so mostly I stay out of anything but the montly free study.

The view I'm taking on this one is low expectation, try to have fun and see what happens. This one, and the next challenge about Blurry, are all nice and easy going... i.e. for once there's a chance at some artistic license...run with it and forget about the DNMC morons as much as you can. On this kind of a challenge for me it's more about my creativity and artistic endeavour rather than honing my technical skills to create eye candy - so who cares about the votes and results... (easy to say on this one, harder for more specific challenges/interpretations)

Uh, thanks... I guess not everybody feels the same way about it.... I'm heading for my first Brown ribbon... torn to shreds by the DNMC ppl.
