I tried buying something from B&H (www.bhphotovideo.com) yesterday and it said it didn't accept Visa or Mastercard for international purchases.

Has anyone used Visa or Mastercard at B&H outside the US?

I'm from Canada. It also gave me an error. The problem was that it charged against my card, but wasn't showing on their system. I did a three way conference call with my Visa company and all was resolved in a professional manner. B&H is really good. If possible, try e-mailing them with your concern or calling their 1-800 number

I purchased from B&H, using Visa card, in Australia, no problems whatsoever.

Bah! Double standards somewhere along the line there!

I'm in the process of chasing it up, Jacko..

Damn colonies need to get back in line! ;-)))

Speaking of buying abroad.. I got some great service from www.mydigitaldiscount.com recently. Ordered a bare X-Drive II and got it two days later. And it cost me about half the price in the UK.
