Wow well there hasnt been any snow like that there since I can remember! I live in Lowestoft, so right on the coast.
Well there was a lot when I was little, but I work out if I was really small or the snow was really tall!!!

I love snow, so no complaints here....but I wish the weather guys could at least get it right and provide fair warning. A couple weeks ago they said we would get a dusting and I woke up to 8 inches. By time it stopped snowing we had 14 inches. Same thing happened again over night. The forecast was for a few scattered snow showers. I got up this a.m. to 6 inches of new snow and it hasn't stopped falling yet. Must be nice having a job that pays well even when you're wrong all the time.

I used to love snow when I was a kid...now I just count the days until summer. (I would say spring, but it often snows throughout springtime too). Watching the news last week they said one ski resort here (in Colorado), has a recordbreaking snowfall in January of 250 some odd inches, and that was just for the month of January. The mountains have been pounded this year. I suppose it is a good thing in terms of the drought and water levels and all that, but I am with the majority here, enough already! On top of that, my husband is a snow plower, so he had to work on Christmas, and New Years, and my birthday, and just about every weekend as well. I wanted to strangle everyone who said, "I am so happy we had a white Christmas this year!" But enough of my ranting =) I still can't imagine living somewhere that we didn't get snow.

We are supposed to get another 2-4 inches of that crap tonight. If you want snow bring a dump truck to Wisconsin and take as much as you like. It is free. Tell Your Friends.

Even more snow, another 6-12 expected here by Monday morning. Running out of places to dump the stuff. Going to be July before the crap all melts if it keeps coming at this pace.

One of the heaviest snow fall years combined with some heavy rain / freezing rain last week is wreaking havoc here in NH. We've had 4 or 5 buildings collapse. The most recent was here in my community. The local Social Center collapsed last night.

There was a lot of history with this building going back to the big-band era. There have been countless dances, wedding receptions and other community functions here. It's sad to see it go. We've had ~90 inches of snow already this year and its only mid February.

It was sunny and about 85 F here today. At night it drops into the 70s. Brrr. I make sure that our baby girl has good, warm pajamas on - the kind with feet attached - and a good blanket.
